This Spring: Get “Stranded With Mary”, Stranded Colorwork Sweater with Mary Scott Huff ~ 5 Session Class

From 9:00 am until 4:00 pm

At Zoom Meeting

$200 + materials

Level: Intermediate. You must have some experience knitting in the round with two colors.

We know that for many of you, completing a stranded colorwork sweater from beginning to end is pretty much at the top of your bucket list. Well, as always, Bazaar Girls is here to help!

The one, the only, Mary Scott Huff will join us on Zoom for an intensive steeked colorwork sweater workshop: “Stranded With Mary”.

In four (4) live sessions on Zoom, Mary will guide us through the construction of her Bazaar Girls exclusive design, “Victoriana,” from start to finish. Inspired by the Victorian influences in Port Townsend, the steeked cardigan is made from the exquisite Elemental Affects Shetland yarn. In addition to the workshop sessions, participants will receive the “Victoriana” pattern and Mary’s class workbook. Students will choose from 4 colorways: Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall. Mary will also moderate a dedicated Ravelry group where workshop students can make friends, compare notes, and ask questions in between sessions. The skills you master with Mary will prepare you to make any kind of steeked garment you wish going forward, including designing your own.

The workshop size is limited to 20 students. And remember; this design is a Bazaar Girls exclusive, so only workshop participants and Bazaar Girls customers will have access.

NOTE: After you have registered, we’ll be in touch with information about choosing your colorway, calculating size, and ordering yarn from Elemental Affects.

Dates of the class (all times: Pacific time):

June 27 from 9 am - 2 pm, with a break for lunch

July 25 from 9 am - 12 pm

Aug. 29 from 9 am-noon

Sept. 26 from 9 - 12 am

After working through the Selbuvatter mitten class-I’m super excited to join this group and knit my first sweater. Mary is such an excellent teacher, my first pair of mittens were a success (especially the second one…).

    Hi Ginny,
I forwarded your question to Dana. She’ll be able to help you.

I love this sweater and have wanted to knit it since you first revealed it. Is there anyway to estimate the cost of materials?

OMG! I can’t believe that I am registered for this class. Love the design and how it will fit a wide range of body shapes.
    Is it May 25th yet?

I am so looking forward to this class and a finished project.
    Thank you, Dana!
