Join us as we knit and chat our way through Arne & Carlos’ sweet book, “55 Christmas Balls to Knit.” (The book is available in the shop, or you may find a pattern online.) This holiday Knit-Along is free with the purchase of two balls of Rauma 3-ply Strikkegarn, the perfect Norwegian DK-weight yarn. Kerri will be on hand to provide help with color-stranding or other knitting issues. You will receive a Zoom link when you purchase your yarn.
Materials: two skeins of Rauma 3-ply Strikkegarn in contrasting colors; US size 2-4 double-point needles (or 40″ circular needles for Magic Loop, depending on your knitting style); stitch marker.
Drop-In Knitting Help ~ $10/hr
Thursdays between 11:00 am & 1:00 pm, and
Fridays between 2:00 pm & 4:00 pm
Attention all beginning knitters, stitch-droppers, and those who would like to see their knitting move to the next level; as always, Bazaar Girls is here to help. Drop-in on Thursdays between 11 and 1, and Fridays between 2 and 4, and one of our staff will be happy to help with all your knitting questions, dropped stitches, and any other knitting-related issues. The knitting doctors are in!
If you’ve been wondering how you’re going to cheer yourself up in the dark, dreary winter days ahead, maybe we can help. Bazaar Girls has paired with Pt. Townsend’s Silverwater Cafe (237 Taylor St.; www.silverwatercafe.com/) for Sip & Knit. Join knitters and other fiber friends every Wednesday from 2:30 to 4:30 up in the mezzanine, for an afternoon of conviviality. We hope to see you there. This event precedes the Silverwater’s famous all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinners on Wednesdays, if you want to make an evening of it.
$15, paid at the door. Fee includes one drink from a special menu, snacks and appetizers. Knitters bring your own supplies.
NOTE: per Jefferson County regulations, you must show proof of vaccination in order to enter this and all other restaurants.
