We know that for many of you, completing a stranded colorwork sweater from beginning to end is pretty much at the top of your bucket list. Well, as always, Bazaar Girls is here to help!
The one, the only, Mary Scott Huff will join us on Zoom for an intensive steeked colorwork sweater workshop: “Stranded With Mary”.
In 5 live sessions on Zoom, Mary will guide us through the construction of her Bazaar Girls exclusive design, “Victoriana,” from start to finish. Inspired by the Victorian influences in Port Townsend, the steeked cardigan is made from the exquisite Elemental Affects Shetland yarn. In addition to the workshop sessions, participants will receive the “Victoriana” pattern and Mary’s class workbook. Students will choose from 4 colorways: Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall. Mary will also moderate a dedicated Ravelry group where workshop students can make friends, compare notes, and ask questions in between sessions. The skills you master with Mary will prepare you to make any kind of steeked garment you wish going forward, including designing your own.
The workshop size is limited to 20 students.
NOTE: After you have registered, we’ll be in touch with information about choosing your colorway, calculating size, and ordering yarn.
