Engage in the serene, time-honored practice of Sashiko Japanese Embroidery. Use a simple running stitch to transform linen into a small, embellished, and practical bag. Choose from traditional Sashiko patterns and floral motif stencils. We will hand-sew the two decorated fabric panels into a fully functional, 5-inch square drawstring bag. Use it for stowing precious small objects or as an aromatic sachet. All tools and materials provided. Please bring your good reading glasses!
Each class kit will include a pair of Sashiko needles, a pair of linen fabric squares, and ribbons for the drawstring, plus access to all the communal workshop supplies.
