Granny Squares may be the most easily recognizable crochet technique. In this class, you'll learn how to make a basic granny square that can be used as the foundation for many projects. Techniques covered will include a magic circle, color changing, and constructing corners. This is not a beginning class: students must have a basic understanding of crochet stitches, such as single and double crochet.
Materials can be purchased from Bazaar Girls the day of the class: At least one skein of Rauma DK Strikkegarn (2 skeins if you want more colors); crochet hook: any size between 4 mm and 6 mm (bring what you have or purchase a hook before class).
Prerequisite: Beginning Crochet 1 or previous crochet experience.
