For students who have experience with knitting in the round and have cut a steek or two, this is the next step: learning how to give shape to your garments with shapely steeks at the waist, underarm, and neckline. Mary, aka the Steek Queen, will show you how to incorporate steeks into your planning process so you can take your knitted garments to the next level. Students will knit a teddy bear vest using the techniques; this will put you well on your way to shaping your next garment.
Suggested yarn: 2 skeins Rauma DK-weight 3-ply Strikkegarn, available in the shop.
