Kerry Graber of Jorstad Creek Will be at Bazaar Girls Yarn Shop
November 7 – 9
Jorstad Creek’s Catalina, Isle of Skye & Iona.
Mark your calendars for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 7-9, when one of our favorite indie dyers, Kerry Graber of Jorstad Creek, will be bringing her beautiful yarns to Bazaar Girls.
Kerry began as an avid knitter and spinner, and gradually found a way to turn her passion for fiber and color into a business. She develops her own yarn blends and colorways, and sources her wools from local shepherds. She and her assistants dye all the skeins, including our favorites: Isle of Skye (kid mohair and silk); Chelan a new DK-weight superwash merino in solids and multi; and San Juan sock yarn (merino & nylon). Kerry will also be bringing a few kits:

Kivia Socks in Orcas (1-ply high-twist sock weight), dyed just for us in an exclusive colorway to reflect the colors of Pt. Townsend.

Caitlin Hunter’s Teroldego Shawl, in three colors of Catalina (merino, cashmere & nylon).

Drunken Geese Socks. Kerry’s too modest to mention, but Drunken Geese Socks, knitted in Jorstad Creek’s Iona (a divine merino/mulberry silk blend) is “Hot Right Now” on Ravelry.
