Oct. 28, Nov. 4, 11, & 18 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Brioche is an easy stitch that creates a lush, drapey, warm fabric. But it also has a structure unlike anything else in knitting. In this class, we’ll explore the structure of what makes brioche tick, then familiarize ourselves with knitting it flat, knitting it in the round, and knitting with two colors. And we’ll talk about fixing mistakes in our Brioche because hey, we’re human!
Here's a chance to learn from one of the masters of the form. At the end of the series, you'll understand the structure of Brioche and be able to tackle any of the incredible patterns that use this technique.
Syllabus:
Class 1: The structure of Brioche, getting started, and fixing mistakes;
Class 2: Increasing and decreasing in Brioche;
Class 3: Working Brioche in the round, with both a single color and with two colors;
Class 4: Working two-color Brioche, flat.
