We love wearing our knits, and sometimes that means they need some TLC. Learn to repair your knits with duplicate stitch, knitted patch, or woven patch. These can be functional repairs (a hole in a sweater or sock), or decorative repairs (personalizing a garment).

Supplies for class: Worsted weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors; working your swatch in a light color will make it easier to see your work; US 6-8 circular or double-pointed needles to give you a nice fabric for your homework swatch; large blunt-tipped yarn needle; scissors.

Homework: Cast on 30 sts. K 4 rows (garter stitch). Work stockinette stitch (k on RS, p on WS) until your piece is 6” tall. K4 rows
