Shetland Lab – Choose Your Own Adventure!

Varian’s Table – cutting your steek. Practice with your own swatch(s) from Saturday. Varian will take your questions about using steeks in designs, and the different steek methods.

The No-Mess Dye Table with Kerry Graber – bring your bits of Shetland fiber or hand spun and try using dye tinctures in jars. It’s easy, no fuss, no mess dyeing you can try here and then have success at home.

High-whorl Drop Spindling Table with Shetland fiber – bring your drop spindle or try one of ours and give it a whorl! If you are an experienced spindler try different fiber preparations. Maddy from JC.

Crystal’s Idyll’s Table (from Port Townsend – interested in a Shetland fleece, or some locally grown prepared fiber? Spend time browsing and finding what you need for your spinning projects.
