Happy New Year! Time to shake things up.
We’re shaking our classroom up in 2016! From now through spring we will be offering several free or highly affordable classes. Beginning in January, we will start Skill-builder Sundays.
Have you ever avoided a project because you didn’t know how to do a provisional cast on or the kitchener stitch? Then our first Skill-builder Sunday is for you.
We’ll be making the Churchmouse’s Mohair Bias Loop with one skein of Wonderland Unicorn or Jorstad Creek Isle of Skye. The pattern is available on ravelry, and requires a size 10.5, 24 in. needle. The piece is knit flat, so if you have longer 10.5’s they’ll work too.
Sunday, January 24th, at 1:00 pm choose a skein of sparkly Unicorn or cloud-like Isle of Skye and learn our favorite provisional cast on for free! We’ll even supply the waste yarn.
Then stay to knit with us for Crafternoon which starts at 2:00 and you will be well on your way. This pattern is quick and easy so you should be finished with it in a week.
The following Sunday, January 31st, at 1:00 we’ll finish up your scarf and put your kitchener stitch fears to rest for good.
