The Pi Shawl is an amazing blank canvas for stitch patterns and experimentation, combining math and art in endless ways. But what if you could change the shape of the canvas itself? For this project, Bristol will guide us as we work together on the Brisée Shawl, a pattern that incorporates both the traditional concepts of Pi Shawl shaping with the vivid and graphic architecture of short rows.

Materials needed: 400 yds [366 m] fingering weight yarn in EACH of two colors; and 150yds [137 m] fingering weight yarn in a third color; a US 4-5 [3.5-3.75 mm]circular needle in between 32-60” [81-152 cm] length; and optional stitch markers.
