Saturday, January 18 ~ 2 pm – 4:30 pm ~ $40 Bring a pair of torn jeans if you have them, or another garment in need of mending. Perle cotton for stitching available in the shop.
In this hands-on denim mending workshop, you’ll begin by learning the basic technique of sashiko, a Japanese style of stitching, by creating your own sashiko-style denim patch. You'll also learn modern mending techniques and some tricks to turn your jeans into wearable art. A great class for beginners and seasoned stitchers alike.
