This is a 2 part class.

Argyle socks have been associated with the Scottish culture since 1500, but they took America by storm post-WWII. Popularity waxes and wanes, but this traditional patterning has never completely gone away. Anne will teach us how to knit traditional Argyle socks, which include knitting flat Intarsia for the leg, turning the heel, and working the gusset, then joining in the round. The class sample is half adult size; if you want to knit an adult size sock, that's fine, you'll just double the number of stitches! You'll have your friends saying, "Sock it to me"!

Materials: 3 or more colors of smooth sock yarn of equal weight with as much contrast as possible; DPNs, straights, or circular needles in the appropriate size for your yarn. Straight needles are highly recommended! Also: highlighter tape or Post-It notes for following charts.
